Parinoor Industries

Our place is tucked away in Street No. 1 of Pratap Nagar. If you are near Sangeet Cinema you are pretty much there. It is a narrow lane and sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time backing out. Parinoor Industries is what we call it but to the neighbors we are just the guys who work late. We do small scale industrial work and manufacturing. The noise of the machines is something we have gotten used to over the years. It is loud but it sounds like progress to us. Pratap Nagar is a tight community and everyone knows each other's business. We have been in this same spot for a long time. The roof leaks a little bit when it rains really hard but we just put a bucket under it and keep going. We don't have a big office with air conditioning or anything like that. Just a desk with a lot of old ledgers and a phone that rings more than it should. The cinema nearby is a good marker for people looking for us. You can usually smell the popcorn if the wind is blowing the right way. We started with just two machines and now we have a few more squeezed into the back. It’s a lot of hard work and grease on our hands but it’s an honest way to make a living. We share a wall with a small house so we try not to be too loud at night.
