Pari Gift House

We are located near the bus stand in Ashok Nagar, right in the Ghumar Mandi area. Pari Gift House is a place where people often stop when they are traveling or just finished shopping in the market. Since we are near the bus stand, we get a lot of people who are in a hurry. They usually want something quick, like a toy for a child they are going to visit or a simple card. We have a lot of items hanging from the ceiling to save space, like plastic balls and balloons. The shelves are mostly filled with things like lunch boxes, water bottles, and small clocks. It is quite loud here because of the buses honking and the people shouting in the street. I spend a lot of my time standing near the door to see who is coming in. We have a small light that flickers sometimes, and I really need to get the electrician to look at it. The shop gets a bit dusty because of all the feet walking in and out from the dirt road. We use old newspapers to wrap some of the items if we run out of the fancy paper. It is just a basic shop meant for the everyday people who pass through this part of town. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat it behind the counter during the slow hours in the afternoon.
