Parashar Forgings

Our place, Parashar Forgings, is located at B-Xxx-1211, right behind the Punjab & Sindh Bank in Sherpur Kalan. It's not the easiest spot to see from the main road, but once you find the bank, you're pretty much there. We do a lot of heavy work here. Forging isn't exactly a clean job, so the place usually has that smell of hot metal and grease. We've got our hammers and machines set up in the back. It gets pretty loud during the day, so we mostly talk over the noise. We aren't a big factory, just a decent-sized workshop where we get things done. Most of us have been working here for years and we know the machines inside out. Sherpur Kalan is an active area, and there's always trucks coming and going. We keep a pretty simple schedule. We open up, get the furnace going, and start on whatever orders are on the desk. Sometimes we have to stay late if a job is particularly stubborn. We don't have any fancy sales people. If you want to talk to us, you just come to the back and find one of us. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually dirty, but that’s just how it goes at the forge. We’re just glad to have a steady spot behind the bank. It works for us. We just keep our heads down and work.
