Onkar Watch Co

Onkar Watch Co is situated right in the heart of things, near the Bank of India on GT Road, very close to the Clock Tower. This is a very old part of Ludhiana and it is always crowded with shoppers and cars. Being near the Clock Tower feels right since we work on watches all day. The shop is small and a bit cramped because we have so many things stored away over the years. We see hundreds of people pass by our door every hour. Some stop in because their watch stopped working or they need a new glass or strap. We’ve seen the GT Road change so much over the years, but our shop stays mostly the same. It’s a bit dusty because of all the traffic outside, but we try to keep the work area clean. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name people know us by. Working near the bank means it’s always busy during the day. We listen to the sounds of the city while we work on delicate gears and tiny batteries. It takes a steady hand to do this kind of work, and we’ve had a lot of practice. We aren't looking to move anywhere else. This spot near the Clock Tower is where we belong. It is a simple life of fixing things and talking to the people who walk in. It’s honest work for us.
