Out here at D-47 in Phase-v, Focal Point, things are always on the move. Nucon Switchgears is basically a big workshop where we put together electrical panels and gear. It's not the kind of place you'd visit for a coffee, but it’s where the actual building happens. The Focal Point area is full of similar units, so there's always the sound of hammers or grinding nearby. We spend our mornings checking the wiring diagrams and making sure the metal housings are ready for assembly. Our team is mostly just local guys who know their way around a screwdriver and a circuit breaker. It gets dusty, and the floors are concrete, which can be hard on your feet after eight hours. We don’t have any fancy brochures or a marketing department. We just have our tools and the parts that come in every week. If a customer calls, they usually talk to whoever is closest to the phone. We try to stay organized, but in a place like this, there’s always a bit of clutter from the wire offcuts and shipping crates. Phase-v is a decent location for us because the logistics are easy. We just focus on the work in front of us. Every day is pretty much the same routine of assembling, testing, and packing things up to go out the door. It’s steady work and we keep busy without making a fuss.
