New Light Cycle Industries

New Light Cycle Industries is tucked away in the Gobindpura area, right off Gill Road in Miller Ganj. If you know this part of Ludhiana, you know it's a hub for all sorts of metalwork and cycle parts. Our building has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. It’s crowded on the streets outside, especially with the rickshaws and delivery vans squeezed into the lanes, but inside the shop, we have our own rhythm. We mostly deal with cycle components, putting things together and making sure they’re solid. It’s dusty work, and our hands are usually covered in grease by noon, but nobody really minds that much. We have a small crew, and most of the guys live nearby. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we work. It helps the day go by a bit faster when things get repetitive. There isn't much to say about our philosophy or anything like that. We just make the parts, pack them up, and send them out to the shops that need them. Sometimes the machines act up and we have to spend a few hours fixing a belt or oiling a gear, but that's part of the job. It's a plain, honest business. People around here know where to find us if they need something specific for a bike frame or a wheel setup, and we're happy to help them out.
