Nestle India Limited has this spot over at House Number 320-D in Rajguru Nagar, which is in Ludhiana. It’s interesting being based in a residential area like Rajguru Nagar because it doesn't feel like a typical corporate environment. It’s more like being part of the neighborhood. We have our office set up here and it’s where we handle a lot of the local coordination for this part of Punjab. Ludhiana is a bustling city, but our little corner is a bit more settled. We’ve got a small team working out of this house-turned-office. It’s cozy but we get a lot done during our hours. We spend the day on the phone or working through spreadsheets at our desks. There’s no big reception desk or fancy elevator here. You just walk through the gate and we’re there working. Sometimes we have tea together and talk about what needs to happen for the week or what’s going on in town. It’s a very human way to run things. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a big shiny building. We just want to make sure the work is handled properly and on time. Being in Rajguru Nagar means we see the same neighbors every day and it keeps us grounded. It’s a practical setup for us. We just focus on our responsibilities and try to keep things running smoothly without making too much of a fuss about who we are.
