You can find Ncic Foundation over in Anandpur Sahib, specifically at Manjit Singh’s place. We are right near Kesgarh Sahib, which is a very important spot in this part of Rupnagar. The area has a certain feel to it that you don’t get anywhere else. Living and working in Anandpur Sahib means you are always surrounded by history and a lot of people visiting the local sites. Manjit has been kind enough to let us use this space for our operations. It’s a simple setup with just enough room for the few of us who are here every day. The pin code is 140118 if you are sending anything by post. Sometimes the mail takes a while to get through, but it usually finds us eventually. The office is often filled with the smell of food from the nearby kitchens. It makes it hard to focus when you’re hungry. We have a few old computers that take a long time to boot up in the morning, so we usually have our first cup of water or tea while we wait. The floors are stone and stay cool even when it’s hot outside. We don’t really do much to decorate. It’s mostly just stacks of papers and a few chairs for visitors. People stop by often just to say hello or ask for directions because we are so close to the main landmarks. It is a good, practical spot for us to be.
