Narang Watch & Radio Co

Narang Watch & Radio Co has been tucked away on Nagardas Cross Road for quite a while. We are over in the Mogra Pada area of Sunder Nagar. It’s a decent neighborhood, though the road gets pretty jammed up during the rush hours. My shop is a mix of old things. I’ve got watches on one side and some old radios on the other. You don’t see many people using those big radios anymore, but some folks still bring them in when the dials get stuck or the sound starts cracking. Most of the time, I’m working on wristwatches. The workbench is right by the front so I can see who is coming and going on the street. It’s got a lot of scratches on it from years of tools sliding around. I don’t keep a very strict schedule, but I try to be here most days when the sun is up. The air in here smells a bit like oil and old electronics. Sunder Nagar is a place where everyone kind of knows each other, so a lot of my day is spent talking to neighbors who just pop their heads in to say hello while I’m trying to fit a tiny spring back into place. It’s not a big corporate operation, just me and the stuff I fix. If your radio is acting up or your watch is slow, this is where we do the work. It is simple enough.
