Munish Forge Ltd. is located at C-128 in Phase-V of Focal Point. If you know the area, you know it’s where all the heavy lifting and industrial work happens. Forging is a tough business. The heat from the furnaces is intense, especially in the hot summer months. Our facility isn't pretty to look at. It’s a large industrial shed with high ceilings and black soot on the rafters from the fires. The sound of the hammers dropping is something you can feel in your feet throughout the day. We spend our shifts moving hot metal and making sure the dies are holding up under the pressure. It’s physically demanding work, and we all go home tired and covered in dust. Focal Point is a busy place with trucks coming in and out at all hours. We don't have a lobby or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you just walk in and find whoever is near the office door or the main workbench. The paperwork is mostly just delivery notes and raw material invoices piled up on a dusty desk in the corner. We’ve been at this for a long time, so we don't need to talk much about how it's done. We just get the steel in, heat it up, and shape it. There’s a lot of sweat involved in every piece we make. We don't have a lunchroom, so we just eat where we can find a seat. It’s an honest way to make a living.
