Gaba Glass House

If you walk through the Main Market, you will probably see our shop, Gaba Glass House. We have been here for a long time, surrounded by all the other traders and the constant noise of the street. Dealing with glass is a tricky business because everything is so fragile. Our floor is almost always covered in tiny shards, even though we sweep every hour. We spend most of our time measuring sheets, cutting them to size, and making sure the edges aren't too sharp for the customers to handle. It’s a lot of manual labor, and our hands usually have a few small nicks from the work. We carry different types of glass, from the thin ones for picture frames to the thicker stuff for windows and tables. It’s not a quiet place because of the sound of glass being moved and the grinding machines running in the back. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped when a big delivery comes in, but we make it work. Most of our customers are locals who are fixing up their homes or small shopkeepers from nearby streets. We don't have a fancy website or anything like that. People just drop in, tell us their measurements, and wait while we get it ready. It's a simple way of doing business, and it has served us well over the years. We just keep our heads down and focus on getting the cuts right every single time without overcomplicating the process.
