Our place is on G.T. Road over in Miller Ganj. If you have ever driven through this part of town, you know the traffic is something else. It is constant noise from the trucks and the rickshaws outside our door at Milhard Sales Pvt Ltd. We have been here for a good amount of time, watching the buildings around us change while we stay mostly the same. The shop is full of stock, boxes piled up high, and there is always a bit of a struggle to find a specific part if someone asks for something rare. We keep things pretty simple. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but nobody really has the time to stop and do that. Most days start with a lot of shouting over the traffic to talk to customers or the delivery guys. It gets really hot in the summer, and the fans just move the warm air around. We drink a lot of water and keep moving. Miller Ganj has a specific smell to it—a mix of diesel and old metal. That is just what we breathe every day. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here, just selling what people need and trying to keep the inventory straight. It is a busy life on the G.T. Road. Sometimes we stand at the front just watching the chaos for a minute before heading back into the shelves to pull an order. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know the inventory.
