Down in Kanganwal, near P.O Jugiana, you’ll find our place. Mehta Automotive Pvt Ltd is what we call it, though most people around here just know us as the guys who handle the car parts and heavy metal work. It’s a bit of a drive out here, but the space is good for the big machines we need. We’ve been set up in this spot for years. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we're usually too busy with the actual work to worry about that. Every morning starts with a lot of noise as the shutters go up and the guys start checking the inventory. We deal with a lot of automotive components, mostly for larger vehicles and some specialized stuff. It gets hot in the summer, but we have some old fans that keep the air moving. Dealing with logistics from Jugiana can be tricky sometimes with the traffic, yet we manage to get things moving. We aren't a giant corporation with thousands of employees. It's a smaller team where everyone knows everyone else’s name. If there’s a problem with a part, we talk it out right there on the floor. We don’t have fancy meetings. We just look at the metal and figure out what’s wrong. It's straightforward work for honest people. We like being part of the local industry here and hope to stay around for a long time. There is always a lot to do, and we just get on with it.
