Mani Broker

I run Mani Broker from Shop No 1487/1 over in the Dugri Ranip area. It’s a small office, just big enough for a desk, a couple of chairs, and a lot of filing cabinets. Most of my day is spent on the phone or meeting people who are looking for a place to stay or do business. I’ve been in the Dugri area for quite some time, so I know most of the streets and who owns what. It’s not a glamorous job; there’s a lot of paperwork and waiting around for people to show up for meetings. Sometimes they don’t show up at all, which can be frustrating. The shop itself is simple, with a ceiling fan that clicks a bit when it’s on the highest setting. I keep a pot of tea ready for whoever drops by. People come in with all sorts of questions about prices and locations around Ranip. I try to give them the straight story without any fluff. It’s about helping neighbors find what they need. The office is right on the street level, so I see everything that goes on in the neighborhood. It’s a busy little corner of Dugri. I don’t have a big team, just myself and a lot of notebooks where I keep all the listings. It’s honest work, and it keeps me connected to the community here at Shop No 1487/1.
