Mandeep Clinic

Our place, Mandeep Clinic, is right on the Main Road in Mundian Kalan. Being on the main road means it is easy for people to find us, but it also means we hear the trucks and motorcycles going by all day long. It’s a busy part of the area, and we have been operating out of this spot for some time now. The clinic is a straightforward room with a desk and some space for examining patients. We don’t have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. People just walk in from the street, sit down, and wait until we can see them. We handle a lot of the usual stuff like seasonal flu or small injuries. The floor is tiled and we try to keep it clean despite all the foot traffic from the road outside. There’s a small cupboard where we keep the supplies and a ledger for writing down who visited. Working here in Mundian Kalan feels like being part of the daily rhythm of the town. You see the same people going to work or the market every day. When the power goes out, we just open the door to let the breeze in. It’s a practical, local clinic meant for the people living nearby. We don’t put on any acts; we just show up, open the doors, and get to work helping whoever walks in.
