Manav Kirana Store

Manav Kirana Store is located in the Noorwala Basant Vihar area of Ludhiana. If you know this part of the city, you know it’s always moving. We are right in the middle of a residential neighborhood. People here are hard workers. They come to us for their kitchen supplies like pulses, grains, and spices. I spend a lot of time weighing out items on the scales. It’s a routine that I’ve gotten used to over the years. The shop gets a bit stuffy during the summer months in Punjab, but we keep the door open to let some air in. We don't have any big marketing plans or anything fancy. We just sell what people need. Sometimes we get new snacks in, and the kids in the neighborhood get excited. We know most of our customers by their faces, even if we don't always remember every name. The shop is small and the aisles are narrow. You have to be careful not to knock anything over. We try to keep prices fair because we know everyone is trying to save a bit. It’s a local business run by local people. We aren't looking to expand or become a big chain. Just staying here in Basant Vihar is enough for us. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day, but that’s how it goes.
