Makkar Clinic

Makkar Clinic is located over at 167 Model Gram in Bhawani Nagar. It’s a bit of a different vibe compared to the main market areas of Ludhiana. Model Gram has its own rhythm. We are near Model Town, which everyone knows, but our street is a little more tucked away. The pin code is 141002. Being in Bhawani Nagar means we see a lot of the same neighbors walking their dogs or going to the shops every day. The clinic isn't huge. It’s a modest building that fits right in with the houses around it. I usually spend my time sitting at the front desk or moving files around in the back. We have a few chairs for people to wait in, and there is usually a fan humming in the corner during the summer months. It can get quite hot in this part of Punjab, so we do our best to keep things comfortable. We don't go in for flashy signs or big advertisements. Most people who come here live nearby or heard about us from someone else in the neighborhood. It’s a local operation. Sometimes the power goes out and we just have to wait it out like everyone else on the block. We focus on getting through the daily list of patients and making sure the records are kept straight. It’s not a complicated life here, but it’s busy enough to keep us on our toes for most of the day.
