Mahavir Forgings

Operating out of Focal Point keeps us right in the middle of all the industrial action. Mahavir Forgings isn't a quiet place by any means. There’s always the sound of hammers and the intense heat from the furnaces. We’ve been at this spot for a good number of years now. It’s a very straightforward setup. We take the raw material and work it until it’s the exact shape it needs to be. The floors stay dirty because that's just the nature of forging work. Our guys have been with us for a long time, so they know the machines inside and out. We don't spend money on fancy signs or any marketing stuff. Most people find us because they know we're here at Focal Point. It gets really hot in the summer, which makes the shifts feel a bit longer, but the work doesn't stop. We usually have stacks of parts waiting to be shipped out piled up near the entrance. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time backing in because the road gets narrow with all the traffic around here. It’s a busy life. We just try to keep the equipment running and the orders moving. If a machine breaks down, we fix it ourselves and keep going. That’s pretty much the daily routine for us. We stay focused on the metal and the heat, making sure everything that leaves the shop is solid and ready for use. It’s what we do.
