We've been at 329 in Industrial Area -A for a while now. If you know the area near Cheema Chowk, you know how busy it gets around here. It’s mostly just us and the machines everyday. The shop floor is always humming. We don't really have a fancy office or anything like that. It’s just a place where things get made. Most mornings start with checking the power and making sure the guys are ready to go. The floor gets a bit greasy sometimes, but that’s just how it is in manufacturing. We focus on getting the parts out on time. There’s no big secret to what we do. It’s just about showing up and doing the work. Some days the heat in the shed gets to you, especially in the middle of summer, but we keep the fans going and get through it. People around here know us because we’ve been in this spot for years. We handle all sorts of metal work and fabrication stuff. It’s noisy and dusty, but it’s our space. We usually close up when the sun goes down, or later if there's a big batch to finish. If you’re walking past Cheema Chowk, you can probably hear the drills. We keep things simple and just stick to what we know. It's not a glamorous job, but it keeps us busy and we like the routine of it. M K Manufacturing Co is just part of the local landscape now.
