M G Enterprises

Matharoo Market is a crowded place. If you come down Mumbadevi Road, you’ll find us at 2516 in Dagina Baazar. It’s usually a bit of a squeeze getting through the crowds, especially during the holidays when everyone is out shopping. M G Enterprises has been in this little corner for years. The shop isn’t much to look at, just a counter and some stools for when our feet get tired. We spend most of the morning opening up the shutters and dusting off the displays. The neighbors are good people, even if they talk too much sometimes. You can hear the temple bells from here, which is a nice sound to work to. We deal with all sorts of people walking in. Some just want to look, others know exactly what they need. It’s a lot of standing around and waiting, then suddenly everyone comes at once. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us making sure everything is in its place. The lights flicker a bit when the heavy machinery starts up next door, but we’ve gotten used to it. It’s just the way things are in the bazaar. We stay open until the sun goes down and the street lights take over. It’s a simple life, really. We just keep the shop running and hope the rain doesn't leak through the roof this year while we work here on Mumbadevi Road in the 2516 spot.
