Lyall Forging

You can find Lyall Forging over on Daba Road, right near the G.T. Road and the Sherpur Bye Pass. It is a busy intersection area, which is good for moving the heavy stuff we make. Forging is tough, sweaty work. We have the furnaces running most of the time, so the heat is something you just have to get used to. We make various metal parts that go into bigger machines. It is loud and dirty, but it is what we know how to do. We have been at this spot for a long time, and the building shows its age a bit. We do not spend money on making the place look pretty; we spend it on the hammers and the heat treatment equipment. The guys on the floor have been working with metal for decades. We do not use much fancy language to describe our work. We take a piece of raw metal, heat it up, and beat it into the shape it needs to be. Sometimes the specs are hard to hit, and we have to redo a batch. That is just how forging goes. Being near the Sherpur Bye Pass makes it easier for the trucks to pick up the finished parts. We do not have any big marketing slogans. We just show up, start the fires, and get to work on the orders we have for the day. It is hard work, but it is what keeps us going.
