Lovely Gift Centre

Our shop is tucked inside Jyoti Complex over in Bhekarai Nagar. It's a busy part of the Hadapsar Saswad Road, especially on the weekends when everyone is out shopping in Chaura Bazar. We have a lot of different things on the walls and in the glass cases. Mostly it’s stuff for birthdays or anniversaries, like photo frames, little statues, and some plastic toys. I’ve been working here for a few years, and I’ve seen the market change a lot around us. The traffic outside is always a mess, but inside it’s a bit calmer, though we do run out of space for all the boxes sometimes. We don't have a computer system to track everything, we just know where things are by looking around. It's a bit old-fashioned that way. People stop in while they’re doing their grocery shopping nearby. We try to keep a good variety so people have choices, even if the shop is small and a bit cramped. Sometimes I spend half the day just dusting the shelves because the street dust is relentless and never stops. It’s a good spot though. You see families coming in together, kids pointing at toys, and husbands looking for something for their wives. We just give them the price and wrap it up in some colorful paper if they want that. It’s a simple life here in the complex. Not much to it, just keeping the shop open and talking to the neighbors every day.
