Lovely Auto Home is right by the Sindh Bank on Gill Road in Miller Ganj. If you know that area, you know how hectic it gets with all the spare parts shops and mechanics. Our shop is full of gaskets, spark plugs, and engine oil cans. There is barely enough room to walk between the shelves sometimes. We mostly deal with people looking for that one specific bolt or a headlight for an old bike. My hands are almost always black from handling the parts, and the smell of rubber and grease is stuck in my clothes forever. We do not have a big fancy showroom. It is just a place where you can find what you need for your vehicle. The noise from Gill Road is constant, with horns honking and engines revving right outside the door. We usually have a few people standing around the counter talking about their cars or complaining about the road conditions. I keep a stool behind the counter, but I rarely get to sit on it for long. We get all kinds of customers, from young guys wanting to fix up their scooters to older men looking for tractor parts. It is a messy business, but it is what we know. We just stay open until the sun goes down and the street finally starts to quiet. The lights in the shop are a bit dim, but we know where every single part is kept.
