Lotex Auto Industries

We have been operating out of K-191 here in Phase VIII of the Focal Point area for quite some time now. To be honest, it’s a bit of a maze back here, and if you aren't familiar with these lanes, you might get turned around once or twice. Our shop at Lotex Auto Industries isn't the biggest one on the block, but we make do with the space we have. Most days start with the sound of the shutters rolling up and the smell of machine oil that never really leaves the walls. It’s loud, dusty, and usually pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when all the machines are running at once. We’ve got a few guys who have been working here since we opened, and we mostly just get on with our tasks without saying much. There’s always a stack of steel or some auto components sitting near the entrance waiting to be loaded onto a truck. We don't have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. If someone stops by, they usually just stand near the workbench while we talk. The desk in the corner is buried under old logs and spare parts, which drives some people crazy, but it works for us. At four o'clock, everything stops for ten minutes so we can have some tea from the stall down the road. It’s a simple life, just doing the work that needs doing and heading home when the sun goes down.
