We've been at 181-Industrial Area-A for a while now. The office is inside Design Plus. Most mornings start with checking emails and looking over blueprints. Being in the industrial area means it can get a bit noisy outside with the trucks and all, but we've gotten used to it. Likhy is usually at the drafting table or out at a site. It's not a fancy place, just a workspace where we get things done. We have some old rolls of paper stacked in the corner and a coffee machine that's seen better days. Sometimes clients come by to look at sketches, and we just sit around the big table. It’s pretty straightforward work. We spend a lot of time on the computer too, just making sure everything fits right in the drawings. There’s always a lot of measuring and re-measuring involved. Sometimes the weather makes it hard to get out to the plots, so we just stay in and organize the files. The neighborhood has a few good lunch spots if you know where to look. It’s a busy part of town but it works for what we do. We try to keep things organized but when a deadline is coming up, the desks get pretty messy with pens and rulers everywhere. That’s just how it goes here. It's mostly quiet work, focusing on the lines and the math. We've seen the area change over the years. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever project is currently on the table. It is a long day usually.
