Libas Knitwears

Libas Knitwears is located out in Village Lalton Kalan, which is a bit of a drive from the main Ludhiana city center but still part of the central area. Being in a village means things move a little slower than in the big industrial zones. We have our small setup here where we handle knitting and garments. It’s mostly local people from the village who come in to work with us. We have some machines that make a lot of noise throughout the day. In the winters, it gets really busy because everyone wants sweaters and warm clothes. During the summer, we slow down and work on different fabrics or lighter pieces. The address is a bit long, but most people around here know where we are. It’s not a fancy factory with glass walls. It’s a practical space with concrete floors and piles of yarn everywhere. Sometimes the power goes out, and we have to wait it out or use the generator. We don't do much advertising. Most of our orders come from people who have known us for years. We just focus on getting the stitching right. It’s honest work. My hands are usually a bit rough from handling the wool and the machines all day. We keep the doors open for some fresh air when the weather is nice. It’s just us doing our job in the village, making clothes that people can actually wear comfortably.
