Lamba Industries(Regd)

We’ve been here on Gill Road for years. Lamba Industries is what the sign says above the door. If you know this area, you know it’s a busy place with a lot of commerce happening. We mostly deal with manufacturing and industrial supplies. The building is narrow but deep, so we have more space than it looks from the street. It’s a bit cluttered inside. We have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling filled with various parts and metal bits. It can be hard to find things sometimes, but we usually know exactly where everything is. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here. I’m usually at the desk or helping someone out in the back. We have a couple of guys who handle the machines and a delivery person who knows all the shortcuts around the city. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day to keep going. The noise from the street is constant, but it becomes like background music after a while. We don't do much advertising. People usually just walk in or call us because they’ve been coming here for a decade. It’s not a glamorous job. We get dirty and the paperwork is a bit of a mess, but we keep the business running. We just want to finish the day’s work and make sure the customers get what they asked for. That is about as much as anyone can expect from a place like this.
