The noise from the buses and the crowd at the station usually carries over a bit, so it’s never really silent around here. We work with people who are trying to get back on their feet or recover from different issues. It’s a lot of hard work for them and for us too. The building is simple and we spend a lot of time in the therapy rooms. Sometimes the street gets a bit crowded with parked bikes, especially in the afternoons. We have been at this 141001 address for some time now and most people in Sham Nagar know where we are. It’s a plain place, nothing too special to look at from the outside, but inside we stay busy. We have a few rooms for different exercises and a small area where families wait. The staff talks about their day while making tea in the pantry. We don't have any big signs or anything, just the name on the door. People usually find us through word of mouth or because they live nearby. It feels good when someone finishes their time here and goes home feeling better. That’s pretty much what happens here every day at Street Number 1.
