Khanna Nursign Home

You can find us right on the G.T. Road in Khanna, directly opposite the Gell petrol pump. Being on the main highway means it’s never really quiet here. You can hear the big trucks and buses rumbling past at all hours of the day and night. The nursing home has been part of this landscape for a long time. The building is a bit of a mix of old parts and some newer additions we had to put on when we needed more room. It’s not the most beautiful place to look at from the outside, but it’s where we do our work. We have a small courtyard area that some of the staff use for tea breaks when it’s not too hot outside. Inside, the hallways are narrow and we have to be careful when moving stretchers around. We don't use any fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just a local medical facility where people from the surrounding villages and the town come when they have an emergency or need a checkup. The reception desk is made of dark wood and has a lot of scratches from years of use. We keep our records in big paper files because that’s how we’ve always done it, even if we use the computer for some things now. It’s a busy, loud, and honest place to work.
