Kay Dee Forgings Pvt. Ltd.

Our unit, Kay Dee Forgings Pvt. Ltd., is over at F-10 in Phase Vii of Focal Point. It’s one of those parts of town where you mostly see warehouses and factories. We’ve been at this location for a good stretch of time. The building is a bit older now, but it serves its purpose just fine. Inside, it’s all about the forging. We’ve got the heavy hammers and the heating units that run pretty much all day. It gets noisy, so we usually have to shout to be heard over the machines. We aren't big on formalities here. Most of the time, the owner is right there on the floor with the rest of the staff. We’ve got a core group of workers who have been with us since the early days. They know the rhythm of the place. We deal with iron and steel every single day, and it’s heavy, tiring work. But there’s a certain satisfaction in seeing a raw piece of metal turn into something useful. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing department. We just have our address at F-10 and our reputation among the folks who buy from us. Sometimes the supply of coal or power is a bit shaky, and we have to adapt. It’s all part of the daily grind. We just keep our heads down and focus on the next piece of metal in the fire.
