Karamjit Singh & Co. is situated right by the New Grain Market in Bathinda, not far from the main bus stand. It is a busy spot, especially during the harvest seasons when the market is full of activity. We have been operating here for quite some time, and the location makes it easy for people coming in from the surrounding villages to find us. Our days usually start very early, as that is when the market starts waking up. You can hear the buses and trucks moving around constantly. We deal with a lot of local folks who are just trying to get their business sorted. The office is small and usually has a few people sitting around talking about the day's work. It is not a fancy setup, just some desks and a lot of ledgers. We prefer it that way because it feels more personal. We know the farmers and the traders who pass by every day. There is always tea being made and someone stopping in to check on an order. The dust from the grain market settles on everything, but we don't mind it much. It is just part of living and working in this part of Bathinda. We focus on getting the tasks done and helping out whoever walks through the door. It is a simple life centered around the market cycles. We have seen the market grow over the years, but our way of doing things has stayed pretty much the same through it all.
