Our mill is located at number 369 in Industrial Area- A. It’s a large building that has been around for a long time, and you can tell by the way the bricks look. Kanodia Hosiery Mills is always a busy place. From the moment the first shift starts, there is a constant drone of the machines making socks and other hosiery items. The floors are concrete and stay cool, but the air is always warm from the equipment running. We have big rolls of cotton and synthetic yarn piled up near the entrance. The loading dock is usually crowded with trucks either bringing in raw materials or taking away the finished boxes. We don't have a fancy showroom. Most of our space is taken up by the production lines and the packing area. The office is just a small partitioned section with some old wooden desks and a few awards on the wall that are covered in a bit of dust. It’s an industrial spot, so there is plenty of grease and noise, but that’s just the nature of the work. We’ve seen many changes in Industrial Area- A over the years, but we just keep doing what we know. Most of the workers have been here for a long time, so everyone knows their job. It’s a big, loud, messy place, but it’s where we get things done every day.
