Kamal Photo Plaza

We have been here at Kamal Photo Plaza for quite a while now. If you are familiar with the area near Bhai Bala Chowk, you probably know our spot right across from the Park Plaza hotel. It is a busy corner of the world, and there is always something going on outside our windows with the traffic and people moving about. We mostly spend our days handling cameras and prints, dealing with whatever photography needs people bring through our doors. The shop is not fancy or anything like that. We have our counters and the gear tucked away wherever it fits best. Most days it is just us doing the work, making sure the prints come out okay and the equipment is ready. People stop by on their way through the chowk to pick up bits and pieces. We know most of the regulars who walk past every morning for their work. Sometimes the power goes out or the traffic outside gets so loud we can barely hear each other talk over the counter, but that is just how it is in this part of the city. We do not have a big team, just a few of us here trying to keep things moving along. We have seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years with new buildings and people, but we are still here in the same place. It is practical work and it keeps us busy from morning until we close up the shutters at night.
