Our main office for K R Taluja & Co is located in Lakkar Bazar in Ludhiana. Being in the H O means there is always a lot of paperwork and people moving around. Lakkar Bazar is a legendary part of the city, known for all the wood work, so it is a very traditional and busy environment to be in. The streets are narrow and usually packed with cycles and carts, which can make getting here a bit of a challenge if you are in a big car. We have been in this spot for a while, and the building has that old-school Ludhiana feel to it. Inside, it is mostly desks, filing cabinets, and the sound of keyboards clicking. We do not have any big corporate signs or flashing lights. People know us by our name and our location. We take our lunch breaks together when things quiet down a bit, usually sharing food brought from home. It is a steady rhythm of work. Some days are faster than others, especially when the market is busy. We deal with a lot of local clients who have been visiting Lakkar Bazar for decades. It is a place built on long-term relationships rather than fancy presentations. We just focus on getting the day's work finished so we can head home and do it all again tomorrow.
