We are located right on Gurudwara Street in the Sham Nagar area of Ludhiana. Everyone knows this part of town is busy. Jvr Forgings Ltd has been operating out of this spot for quite some time. Ludhiana is the heart of industry in Punjab, so being here makes sense for us. The street gets narrow and crowded during the day with all the delivery trucks and people moving about. We do forging work, which means dealing with heat and heavy hammers. It is a loud environment, and the smell of hot metal is always in the air. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls. Our place is more about the machines and the floor space where the real work happens. Most of the staff live nearby, so we’ve known each other a long time. We drink a lot of tea while we discuss the day's schedule. There is no fancy talk here, just talk about steel grades and delivery dates. Punjab winters are cold, but the furnace keeps us warm enough.
