Jitender Plastic

Our business, Jitender Plastic, is situated in S. A. S Nagar. It’s a pretty basic setup where we deal with all sorts of plastic goods. We have buckets, tubs, and containers of all sizes stacked up in the yard. Most of the stuff is just for everyday use in houses or small shops. We spend a lot of time counting inventory and making sure nothing is cracked or broken. The sun can be quite harsh in S. A. S Nagar, so we try to keep the colored plastics under the shade so they don't fade. We don't have a fancy computer system for our sales. We just use a big ledger book and write everything down by hand. It feels more reliable that way. The floor is just swept dirt and brick in some parts. We have a couple of dogs that hang around the entrance and sleep in the shade. It’s a quiet life for the most part, unless a big truck is backing in to drop off a load. We don’t wear uniforms or anything like that. Usually, it’s just a t-shirt and some sturdy shoes. We know the other shop owners on the street and we sometimes share a meal in the afternoon. We aren't looking to become a giant company. We just want to sell our goods and make sure the locals have what they need for their homes.
