Jeewan Drug Store

Our shop is located at 4-E in Tagore Nagar, Ludhiana. We deal with medicines and healthcare items, mostly. It’s a quiet enough street compared to some of the main markets in Ludhiana. I spend a lot of time looking at boxes and making sure everything is in the right place. People come in when they aren't feeling well, so I try to be quick and quiet. It’s not like a grocery store where people hang around and talk for ages. Here, it is more about getting what you need for your health. I’ve been in this spot for a good number of years now. You get to know which families live in which houses in Tagore Nagar. Ludhiana is a big city, but our corner feels like a small neighborhood. The shop is kept very clean because that is important for a drug store. I don’t have any big marketing plans or anything. I just want to make sure that when someone from the neighborhood needs their regular pills or some bandages, they can find them here at 4-E. It is a basic setup, just a counter and lots of shelves behind it. Sometimes I have to explain things to people, but mostly it's just about serving the community. It is a steady, serious kind of business. We stay open late enough for the people coming home from work. It's just a plain, useful shop for the folks living nearby.
