Jd Wood Crafts

I’ve been at Plot No-250 in Bharat Nagar for a while now. Most people know the spot because we’re right near the State Bank of Patiala in Sita Nagar. It’s a busy little corner. Usually, you’ll hear the saw going before you even see the sign for Jd Wood Crafts. The shop isn't anything fancy to look at. There is sawdust pretty much everywhere, on the floor, on the windows, and even in my tea sometimes. I started this because I just liked making things with my hands. It wasn't some big plan to start a company. People just started asking me to fix their chairs or make a small table, and it grew from there. Some days it’s just me here, and other days I have a couple of guys helping out when a big order comes in. We use basic tools mostly. The wood comes in from different places, and we spend a lot of time just sanding things down until they feel right. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially in the back of the shop where the air doesn't move much. We usually take a break when the sun is at its highest and just sit near the front door to catch whatever breeze there is. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy. We don't have a fancy showroom, just the workshop where everything happens. If you stop by, you'll probably see us covered in wood shavings.
