Jaswant Kiryana Store

People around here know us as the shop across from DMC on Rajpura Road. It’s been a while since we set up Jaswant Kiryana Store at Shop No-3 in Civil Lines. Ludhiana is a busy city and this road gets quite a lot of traffic, especially with the hospital right there. We spend most of our day behind the counter, mostly just handing out the basic things families need for their kitchens. It isn't a fancy place, just a regular shop where we keep flour, pulses, soaps, and whatever else people ask for. Sometimes the morning gets really rushed when everyone wants their milk or bread at the same time. We try to keep everything stocked so people don't have to go far. It’s a small space, but we’ve got it organized in a way that works for us. Living and working in Civil Lines means we see the same faces every day, which is nice. Most of the neighbors just drop in while they’re walking by. We don't do anything big or special, just keeping the shelves full and the shop open on time. If you’re coming from the main road, you’ll see us right there in Shop No-3. It gets a bit dusty with the road work sometimes, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We’ve been here long enough that the regulars don't even need to ask where things are anymore. They just walk in, grab what they need, and we have a quick chat while they pay.
