Am Solar Energy

You can find us over at Jassian Chowk in the Thind Complex. It is a busy intersection and there is always something going on outside our windows. Am Solar Energy is basically just a few of us who are interested in sun power. We spend a lot of our time out on roofs installing panels or in the back room checking the equipment. The complex isn't very new so we are always fixing something or other in the office. It gets quite dusty because of all the traffic at the chowk. We have some samples of solar cells on the desks and a lot of heavy batteries sitting around. It is hard work, especially when the sun is beating down on you while you are up on a ladder, but it feels good to see things working. We aren't sales people who wear suits. Usually, we are in work clothes and have grease or dirt on our hands. We try to keep the paperwork in order but we much prefer being outside doing the actual installs. The Thind Complex has a few other shops so we usually grab lunch at the little place downstairs. It is a regular job and we just take it one day at a time. Sometimes the power goes out in the area and we are the only ones with the lights still on because of our setups. That always makes us laugh a little bit. It is good to be able to help our neighbors out with their energy needs.
