Jassal Gift Place & Frame Works

Jassal Gift Place & Frame Works is over in Civil Line, right at the Ghumar Mandi Chowk on Sat Sang Road in Ludhiana. We do two things here mostly. We sell gifts and we also do picture framing. The framing side of the business keeps us pretty busy in the back. There’s always the smell of wood and glue hanging around. In the front, we have the gift items. It’s a mix of stuff, like scenery paintings, mirrors, and small decorative items. We’ve lived in Ludhiana our whole lives, so setting up shop here felt right. Ghumar Mandi is a very crowded place, but Sat Sang Road is a bit easier to manage. Customers come in with old photos they want to preserve or looking for a gift for a wedding. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us doing the work. Sometimes the orders take a little longer if we have a lot of frames to finish. We aren't trying to be the fastest, just doing the job properly. The shop has been here for a while, and the sign outside is a bit faded now. But people still find us. It’s a honest living, and we enjoy the craft of making frames while meeting new people every day. We usually have a bit of sawdust on the floor from the cutting.
