Jarnail Auto Industries

Jarnail Auto Industries is located inside the Dholewal Industrial Estate in Miller Ganj. Our unit is B 181. Being in an industrial estate means there are always trucks moving and the smell of oil in the air. It is a very industrial part of town, so you won't find many trees or parks nearby. We have been in this unit for several years. The walls are a bit stained from all the work, but it’s a functional space. We start our day early before the sun gets too high because the metal roof makes it very hot inside by noon. There are many other workshops around us, so we often borrow tools or help each other out if someone’s machine breaks down. Jarnail Auto Industries is just a small outfit. We don't have a big office or a fancy sign out front. Most people who come here are regulars who have been dealing with us for a long time. We spend our hours fixing parts and making sure everything is built solid. It’s greasy work and our hands are rarely clean, but that’s the job. There is a small radio in the corner that usually plays local news or songs. It helps pass the time when we are doing repetitive tasks. We don't have a lot of storage space, so we have to keep the floor clear of junk. Every Saturday we try to do a bit of a deeper clean, though by Monday it looks the same again.
