Hindustan Forge

We are located at 10083/1 Kms, which is right near Jeet Sweet in Janta Nagar. It is a noisy part of town because of all the small industries crammed together. At Hindustan Forge, the heat from the furnaces is something you just have to get used to. We spend our days around heavy metal and big hammers. The floor is always black with soot and the air feels thick. It is a tough kind of work, but we have a good group of guys who have been here for years. Whenever we need a break, someone usually runs over to Jeet Sweet to grab some snacks or tea for the group. The building is basically a big shed with high ceilings to let the smoke out. We don't have fancy office chairs, just some wooden stools and a metal desk for the accounts. Janta Nagar is always crowded, so getting a truck in or out of our narrow lane takes a lot of shouting and waving. We have piles of raw iron sitting in the corner waiting to be used. The noise of the forging makes it hard to hear the phone, so we usually have to step outside to talk. It is a dirty, hot job, but it is what we do. We don't have any marketing people or a big lobby, just the forge and the tools. It is a real honest way to spend a day.
