Located right in Dhillon Market 3 in Ludhiana, our place is a bit of a mix because we handle both homeopathy and optical needs under one roof. It might seem like an odd combination to some people, but it works quite well for the folks who live and shop around here. We spend part of our day talking to folks about their general health and the other part helping them find a pair of glasses that actually fit their face. The market is always moving and busy, so there’s usually some noise outside our door, but inside we keep things pretty steady and calm. We have shelves filled with those little glass bottles and other shelves with rows of frames for people to try on. It’s a family-run kind of vibe where we know most of our customers by their first names. If someone has a persistent cough or needs a stronger prescription for reading, they just walk in and we see what we can do to help. We don't have any big corporate backing, just this one shop in the market where we've been for quite a few years. Sometimes people come in for one thing and end up asking about the other, which is fine with us. It’s a practical setup for the local Ludhiana community. We just try to keep the shop organized and make sure we have enough stock for whatever the neighbors might need that week.
