If you head down to 91 A Jamalpur Colony, you’ll find our shop. Radiant Automotive Commercial Equipments isn't a very large place, but we’ve managed to pack a lot of gear into the space we have. Mostly, we deal with stuff for commercial vehicles. It’s a bit of a mess sometimes with all the parts and tools laying around, especially when a big shipment arrives. The floor is stained with oil and there’s always a faint smell of rubber and metal in the air. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot because the warehouse area can get stuffy. There are three of us here most days. We spend a lot of time on the phone checking with suppliers or trying to find a specific part that someone needs for their truck. It's hard work and your hands are never really clean, even after washing up. Jamalpur Colony is a busy area, so there’s always noise from the street coming in through the open shutters. We have a small kettle in the back for tea which we probably use more than we should. Customers usually just walk in and ask for what they need. We don’t have a big sign or a fancy showroom. It’s just a practical place for people who need their machines running. We do our best to stay on top of the orders.
