Jain Gift Ornaments

We are located right near Gurmeet Jewellers in the Ghumar Mandi area. It’s a famous spot in Chaura Bazar, so it’s usually quite crowded with people looking for jewelry and clothes. Our place focuses on smaller gift items and ornaments that aren't necessarily the expensive gold stuff you find next door. We have a lot of artificial jewelry, bangles, and decorative pieces that people like to buy for weddings and parties. The shop has been here a long while, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to get to it. My uncle started this, and now we just keep it going. The street outside is narrow, so it gets loud with the scooters and bikes constantly honking. We have some glass counters that we try to keep clean, though fingerprints are a constant battle with all the kids coming in. It’s a tight space when more than four people come in at once. We don’t really do any advertising, people just know we’re here by word of mouth and by seeing us when they shop. Sometimes we sit outside on stools when it’s slow, just watching the crowd go by and talking. It’s a decent living for us. We know the other shopkeepers around the chowk, so we always have someone to grab a hot tea with. It’s just a regular local shop doing its thing day after day. No big surprises.
