My office is at B-XI-761 in the CMC area of Ludhiana, right in Khud Mohalla. If you are looking for it, I am directly opposite the Malhotra Building Material Store, which is a big place that everyone knows. I’ve been doing accounting work from this location for quite a few years now. The office is simple, mostly just a desk, a computer, and stacks of files that seem to grow every month. It’s not the quietest spot since there’s always trucks and noise from the building material store across the way, but it keeps things lively. I do taxes, bookkeeping, and all those sorts of things for local shops and people in the neighborhood. I don’t have a big team or anything, so when someone calls, they talk to me directly. I like it that way because I know exactly what is going on with every file. Khud Mohalla is a busy part of Ludhiana, and being near the CMC makes it easy for people to find the general area. I don’t use any fancy software for everything, sometimes the old ways are still the best for keeping things organized. I’m not a fan of big business talk; I just prefer to explain things in plain English so everyone understands their numbers. I spend a lot of time here, especially during tax season when the lights stay on late. It’s just steady work in a familiar place.
