J K Fire & Automation Corporation

Up here at 1489, St No-7, in New Amar Nagar, things stay pretty busy. J K Fire & Automation Corporation isn't exactly a quiet place to work. We are right on Daba Road in Ludhiana, and there’s always a truck or a tractor rumbling past the front door. We deal with fire extinguishers and those control panels that tell you if something is smoking where it shouldn't be. The workshop is usually full of red cylinders waiting to be refilled or checked. It’s dusty work, and we all wear these grey overalls that never seem to stay clean for more than an hour. I spend a lot of time checking valves and making sure the pressure gauges are actually pointing where they should. My brother handles the automation side of things, messing around with wires and sensors for gate motors and stuff. We started out in a much smaller room, but we moved here a few years back to have more space for the heavy gear. The tea stall across the street is where we spend our breaks, talking about the weather or the traffic on Daba Road. It’s a practical business. We don't have a receptionist or a fancy lobby. If you come in, you’ll probably find us in the back with a wrench in hand or testing a smoke detector. It’s just us doing the work every day, making sure the equipment is ready if anyone ever actually needs it.
