J.K. Bolt Industries (Regd.)

Dashmesh Nagar is where we’ve set up shop, specifically at 865, Street Number 5, right off Gill Road. J.K. Bolt Industries (Regd.) isn’t a huge place, but it’s loud. The sound of the machines making bolts and nuts is constant from the moment we open the doors until we leave. If you’ve never been inside a fastener factory, it’s basically just rows of heavy machines and bins filled with metal pieces. There’s a distinct smell of oil that stays on your clothes long after you’ve gone home. We’ve been registered for a long time, but that doesn't mean we’ve gotten fancy. The desk in the front is piled with orders and the calendar on the wall is three years out of date, but we know where everything is. We spend a lot of time making sure the threads on the bolts are right because if they aren’t, nothing else works. It’s tedious sometimes, watching the same part come out of the machine over and over again. But then again, someone has to make them. Gill Road is always jammed with traffic, so we try to get our shipping done early in the morning. We don’t have much to say about ourselves other than we work hard and we’ve been here a long time. The crew is like a family, mostly because we’ve been working in the same small space for so many years. We just keep the machines running and hope for the best.
