J J Industries

J J Industries is located over in the Shimlapuri area, right in the Cord Market. We are at 4272 on the 14th Cross, near the 8th Main. It is a busy industrial patch where everyone is making something or moving materials around. Our building is a bit old, but it serves the purpose for what we do here. We have a few machines running most of the day, so it can get pretty loud inside. My father started this place, and I took over after I finished school. We don't have many employees, just a small crew of local guys who know how the equipment works. Sometimes we have to fix the machines ourselves when they break down. The floor is usually covered in scraps or dust from the production process. We get orders from other businesses nearby and try to get them finished on schedule. It is hard work and the summer heat makes it tough in the workshop. We don't have an office with air conditioning. We just have a small desk near the front where we keep the invoices and the phone. People from the market walk by all the time, and we often stop to have tea with the neighbors. It is a simple life running a small industry like this. We just focus on making sure the items are okay before anything leaves the door. There is always something that needs fixing or moving.
